Welcome to Revolution Wrestling's newest column, Star of The Week. Where we have the fans vote on who they think deserve to be our Star of the Week!
We had such an impactful week this week. Many things happened. New champions were crowned and champions retained. But there can only be a couple of stars who stand out. Now lets get to them!1st: We have CARMELLA the girl who defeated Melina for the X Division title a couple of days back on Genesis. Carmella defeated Nikki Bella on Rebellion. She also went on to face Melina again with the title on the line but this time in a ladder match! Carmella successfully retained after she grabbed the title down and left with the gold. Can Carmella's mean streak make he the Star of The Week?
2nd: We have LAYLA the girl who defeated Sasha Banks this week on Evolve in a Women's Title tournament because of Layla winning she went on to face the likes of Eve Torres and Madison Rayne who also advanced in the finals in the tournament. They all faced off in a Triple Threat and Layla ended up winning the match. Not only did she win the match, she won her first title in her entire career. Will Layla making history make her the Star of The Week?
3rd: We have BECKSLANA which is Becky Lynch and Aksana with their manager Lana. These two girls have been dominating the tag team division from left to right. They went on to face Velvet Sky and Angelina Love for the Tag Team titles in a Tables match. Becky went on to retain the titles for her team by putting Angelina Love through the table. The 48+ days for the Tag Team champions continue. Will their long reign make them the Star of The Week?
4th: Last but certainly not least, we have TRISH. Trish has been very impressive this week. She went on to tag with Alicia Fox to face the Tag Team champions, Becky Lynch and Aksana. Trish managed to get the victory for her team despite Alicia Fox leaving Trish in the ring alone with no partner. Trish then later on faced Alicia Fox the next day on Revolution Wrestling's own hit show Revolutionary Divas. Trish may have lost the match to Alicia but Fox still gave Trish the option to chase any title that she wants. Trish later went on to TLC to cash in the contract on Torrie Wilson who earlier on defeated Daffney for the World Title. Trish defeated Torrie in a quick amount of time and became the new World Champion. Trish finally reached her long time dream. Will Trish finally reaching her goal make her the Star of The Week?
