This match featured to of the newest and brightest stars in NXT, one of these women went on to become a two time Divas Champion this year while the other has been involved in some controversy outside of the ring. This unique rivalry between these frenemies dates back to July 24th (Technically June 20th) where Paige defeated Emma in the finals of a tournament to become the inaugural NXT Women's Championship.
As silly as it may sound, Emma earned her shot at the NXT Women's Championship after defeating Summer Rae in a "Dance-Off", Summer Rae would attack Emma and Paige came out for the save. Emma and Paige then teamed up to take on the Beautiful Fierce Females (BFF's) which consisted of Summer Rae, Sasha Banks, and the current NXT Women's Champion Charlotte.
Paige and Emma developed some tension in the feud because of mishaps in the matches involving the BFF's and because of their contrasting personalities, this lead to many fans thinking that the feud was gonna come to blows and that somebody was going to turn on the other. The two was set to face off at NXT's first live PPV event on the WWE Network "NXT Arrival". The match was highly praised by fans and critics alike as one of the best women's matches in the WWE in recent memory. Which one of these women will walk out as NXT Women's Champion?
