Disregarding the picture, did you guys know that there was a divas steel cage match? Yeah that's right, two of the most iconic divas of the Ruthless Aggression period did battle against each other one on one for the first time in the first divas steel cage match in WWE history(And the only one at that). Lita returned a month prior to save Trish Stratus from a beating at the hands of Gail Kim and Molly Holly, entering her into a feud with WWE Divas Champion Molly Holly. Lita however was unsuccessful at winning the championship a month after her return.
Matt Hardy returned to Raw, and there was a segment where he was about to purpose to Lita but was stopped in his tracks as Molly Holly came out and issued a challenge to Lita and Hardy taking on the team of her and Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff. Bischoff added the stipulation that if Lita won she would earn a title shot but if she lost then she would lose her job.
During the match, Hardy turned on Lita and refused to tag her in, and Lita was unable to score a victory which resulted in her being fired. Hardy turned on Lita out of spite because he felt that Lita cared more about her title than she did him because she did return to Smackdown to be with him instead. Christian who happened to have earned a favor at Survivor Series for helping Bischoff gain full control over Raw used his favor to reinstate Lita. Lita made her return the following week just in time for Raw Roulette and the rest happens to be featured in this presentation. Enjoy.
