• Our first story of the night revolves around veteran of the industry Madison Rayne, notable for her currently ongoing best of seven series with fellow veteran Sasha Banks. But is there more to that in-ring feud than meets the eye? We caught up with an anonymous backstage RW worker who was more than happy to dish the dirt on these two superstars. “Apparently when Sasha was first starting Madison kicked her out of the locker room to humble her,” our source says. “Sasha hasn’t let it go and still stiffs Madison to this day!”We didn’t know superstars could be so vindictive and bitchy! Well, more on that in the next rumor.
• RW superstar Natalya has gotten a lot of backstage heat from her opponents in matches for being difficult to work with and intentionally changing the finish mid-match. Additionally, some people have out and said that Nattie purposefully traps them so they cannot kick out, trying to bury their careers with non-finishers. Natalya hasn’t responded to our emails, but RW Superstar Bayley spoke on her and Natalya’s match briefly. “I’m very disappointed that Natalya doesn’t live a hugger way of life,” she said, “but I have a lot of respect for her! Hashtag hug life!”
It will be interesting to see how much longer Natalya stays with the company if this rumor turns out to be true.
• Joy Giovanni, backstage interviewer and ring announcer, has apparently been impressing officials lately – it is said she has a candid attitude and a winning smile. RW newbie Taryn Terrell said, “It was really hard adjusting to the schedule, but Joy was the most helpful and kind person ever; she is really an unsung hero!”
